For many families with limited resources children's school supplies do not always make the grade. Help send children back to school with the supplies they need to build their future.

Each year Parker Street assists hundreds of students in Halifax Regional Municipality with the necessary supplies needed to enable them to start the school year with added confidence for the year ahead.  To see a list of supplies needed to make this happen please see below.



  • To allow time to sort and pack supplies please drop off supplies no later than August 25, 2019

Please drop into our office at 2415 Maynard Street to register for assistance with school supplies.

Important Dates:

  • Registration for school supplies: July 8 – August 23, 2019 on Food Service days, which are Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 8:00am to 11:00am
  • Supplies Pick Up (PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED): Tuesday, September 3, 2019 / 9:00am to 3:30pm
