Back-to-School Program – Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank

Back-to-School Program

"Education is the most powerful weapon in which you can use to change the world." – Nelson Mandela

Levelling the playing field

For many families with limited resources, children’s school supplies don’t always make the cut. Parker Street helps these families send their kids and teens back to class with the tools they need to succeed.

Each year, we provide hundreds of students in the Halifax Regional Municipality with new backpacks and school supplies to start the year with confidence.

The back-to-school program is only open to registered clients of Parker Street Food and Furniture Bank.

Please follow the format to apply for the back to school program, any missing information will make your application null and void.

Program applications now closed for the 2026-27 school year.
